1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sattva Srsti mobile applications (Android and iOS), web application at sattvasrsti.com, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Sattva Srsti (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. The Service
Sattva Srsti is an AI-powered food intelligence platform. Depending on your plan and app version, the Service may include:
- Recipe browsing, search, personalization, and detail views
- Pantry / store-room and shopping list tools
- Diet and nutrition planning features (informational)
- AI Chef chat, AI recipe generation, and Live Voice cooking assistance
- Saved recipes, collections, reviews, and taste profile features
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, to improve security, compliance, or product quality.
4. Your account
- You may sign in using phone OTP, Google Sign-In, or other methods we support.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and device access.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your profile reasonably up to date.
- You must notify us promptly of unauthorized access at sattvasrsti@gmail.com.
- You may delete your account in-app via Profile → Delete account, subject to Section 12.
5. Plans, subscriptions, and credits
5.1 Free and paid features
Core app features may be available without payment. AI Chef and related premium capabilities require an active plan, credit balance, or promotional trial as described in-app.
5.2 Paid plans (current catalog)

Plan names, prices, credit amounts, durations, and feature gates are shown in-app and may change. Displayed prices may include applicable taxes depending on platform and region.
5.3 Billing platforms
- Android: Google Play Billing
- iOS: Apple In-App Purchase (when available)
- Web: Razorpay or other payment methods we enable
Your purchase is also subject to the applicable store or payment provider’s terms. For billing disputes on mobile, contact Google Play or Apple support. For web payments, contact us and/or Razorpay as applicable.
5.4 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Google Play or Apple account settings before the renewal date. You are responsible for managing cancellation. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
5.5 Credits
- AI features consume credits according to in-app and server-side rules.
- For time-limited subscriptions, unused credits may expire when the subscription period ends.
- Credit packs are generally consumed until depleted; repurchase may add credits as described in-app.
- Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable except as we expressly allow.
5.6 Refunds
Except where required by law or store policy, all fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started or digital content/credits have been delivered. Refund eligibility for Google Play, Apple, or Razorpay purchases is governed by those platforms’ policies.
5.7 Free trials and promotions
We may offer trials or promotional credits at our discretion. We may modify or withdraw promotions at any time. Abuse of promotions may result in revocation of credits or account suspension.
6. AI-generated content
- AI Chef outputs (chat, recipes, voice responses) are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your needs.
- You are solely responsible for verifying ingredients, quantities, allergens, cooking temperatures, and food safety before use.
- Do not rely on AI output for emergency, medical, or allergy-critical decisions.
- We do not guarantee uniqueness of AI-generated recipes or freedom from third-party rights in generated content.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to bypass paywalls, credit limits, authentication, or security controls
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law
- Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes others’ rights
- Harass other users or post unlawful content in reviews or comments
- Use the Service to provide professional medical, legal, or safety-critical advice to third parties
- Misrepresent AI output as human-authored professional advice
We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts, revoke credits, or remove content at our discretion.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. reviews, comments, profile information, pantry entries). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights to submit your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, recipe catalog structure, and proprietary datasets (excluding your user content), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as allowed by law or with our written consent.
10. Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, OpenAI, Google Play, Apple, and Razorpay. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that recipes, nutrition estimates, or AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for any particular diet, allergy, or health condition.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sattva Srsti and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in-app.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including payment obligations incurred, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
15. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to that processing as described there.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at sattvaterms.web.app with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email where required. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
You agree to attempt good-faith resolution by contacting us first. Subject to applicable law, courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
18. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our rights.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
